HISTORY OF THE MANLIUS FIREHOUSE

Construction on the firehouse started in 1965. The firehouse opened its doors in 1968 and was the first volunteer firehouse in Onondaga County to have a fire pole on the second floor. In 2017, the firehouse closed when the department moved to its new location on Cazenovia Street. Hospitality Syracuse purchased the firehouse in April of 2024, and construction on the Cantina started in the Fall.
