Hospitality Restaurant Group (HRG) is Hiring a Recruiter for our Restaurant Support Office!

Based in Syracuse, New York, HRG is a growing YUM! Brands Franchisee, primarily Taco Bell, with over 100 restaurants in six states. At HRG, we believe in people first, food second, and we need someone to help us staff our restaurants so that we can satisfy our fan’s cravings!

As the Recruiter, you will be tasked with full-cycle recruiting support for our 100+ restaurants and corporate offices. You will work closely with restaurant management in fulfilling their recruitment needs by maintaining online job board postings and our applicant tracking system. Your success will help our restaurant management team focus on running the business and assisting guests. So If you have a passion for people and tacos, HRG is ready for you.

Responsibilities:

  • Build relationships with management teams to accommodate their hiring needs
  • Develop a hiring plan around target goals throughout each market
  • Stay active and current with job boards, social networks, and platforms to find talent, plan, create, and release job descriptions and announcements
  • Evaluate candidates based on management needs and job requirements
  • Maintain open job listings in the applicant tracking system (talentReef) and online platforms (LinkedIn, Indeed, Snagajob, etc.)
  • Monitor and apply HR recruiting best practices
  • Manage and track turnover, identify patterns, and areas of opportunity
  • Manage and track the effectiveness of each recruiting channel, organic and paid to determine the best recruiting method
  • Coordinate in-restaurant, virtual, and local job fairs
  • Develop and maintain networking relationships with local organizations (Churches, Community Centers, schools/colleges, etc.)
  • Provide analytical and well documented recruiting reports
  • Research other recruitment and advertising methods and resources
  • P&L responsibility with recruitment budget
  • Occasional Travel

Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred (Business, Communications, or Human Resources Management)
  • At least 3 years of proven work experience in recruiting/talent acquisition either in-house or at a staffing agency (Quick-Service Restaurant/Restaurant experience preferred)
  • Exceptional communication (written, verbal, and interpersonal) and decision-making skills
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Office, database management, and internet search
  • Familiarity with job boards, HR software, and social media ( Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, etc.)
  • Experience conducting various types of interviews (phone, video, in-person)

Salary

$65,000+ depending on experience
